FRP Kharland Gates

FRP Kharland gates are installed on sea shore. To restrain sea water from entering into the cultivable land during high tide and to allow fresh water into the sea especially in rainy season. These gates work as “Non-Return Valves”. Movement of gate depends on head available of fresh water/sea water. When fresh water head in Upstream side of gate is more than sea water of downstream side then the gate opens automatically. When sea-water head is more than fresh water then gate closes automatically. This saves cultivable lands from salinity.
